Meet Leandra Lane.
A unique artiste in her genre.
Leandra has years of experience performing locally and abroad; from performing for important dignitaries at events such as Unicef, The Mexican Independence Day, Singapore Ministry of Transport, People's Excellence Awards, The President’s Star Charity, Singapore International Jazz Festival, The Rotary Club of Singapore and The Musicians Guild.
She has now started her very own business venture “Motown Kids” a music school, which sees kids and teenagers and adults, learning, practising and showcasing their vocal talents and performance abilities in preparation for live shows.
Motown Kids was started to bring about a fresh new approach to young people; learning and finding their creative potential in a fun and safe place to express themselves. Through different genres of music, performance and entertainment skills, the aim of this program is to not just improve students' abilities but to take them out of their comfort zones and help build confidence. After all it’s our philosophy that through music young people can grow as individuals and feel comfortable in front of audiences.

Michael Jackson told her she'd be a star.
At the tender age of 10, Leandra sang for Michael Jackson and his personnel in the suite of the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Michael Jackson said she sounded just like him when he was a kid, told her she would definitely be a singer. She describes it as "the best experience of her life"
She also had the opportunity to meet his father, Joe Jackson and he was taken aback by her exceptional talent. She performed for him at a private function and he even attended her 21st birthday party at the Ministry of Sound.
